When My Sista Came Home || Family Reunion

The end of July, beginning of August. Felicity and Josiah came to visit and we had a family reunion. It was a good time, let me tell you. Not only did I enjoy seeing all the family, but I also enjoyed having my sister home, and doing fun things with her. (even though she's not in very many of these pictures *laughs*)

 We all went with my mom and dad to the airport to get Felicity and Josiah. We parked on the top and watched them land, and then went inside and waited for them.

 After getting them, we went to Burgerville for lunch. I decided to try something new, and got one of the seasonal burgers. It was really good. *grins* Also, onion rings were in season YUM

 And then to Brewed Awakenings for coffee, because everyone knows coffee is better out West *winks*

And then we went to the mall. For hours and hours, while my dad was at the eye doctor. When we finally went home, a bunch of people came over to see Felicity and Josiah. (nope. I didn't take any pictures)

the next day was Sunday. There was a birthday party for my aunt and uncle at my Grandpa's. (fun fact: they were born on the same day 22 years apart. the oldest and the youngest of the family. and this year - the first time they got to celebrate together because my uncle lives in the South - Marita turned 22 and Jonathan turned 44. Making her half his age - the only time that will ever happen)

We went to the Zoo with Felicity and Josiah. It was an amazing day! I had so much fun! It had been years since I had been, and I'd been wanting to go for years. And they had remodeled a lot of the Zoo (and some things are still under construction) so it was like visiting a whole new Zoo.

so. much. fun.

The main part that was different was the Elephants. it was so much better than before. So, family members who know which Zoo I'm talking about - YOU NEED TO GO. it's so amazing.

Another fun thing we did with Felicity was go out to coffee with aunts and cousins - just like old times. I missed those rides around town with Felicity. <3 We sisters also did some running around town before meeting at the coffee shop. Visited the big library and some shops. 

And then the Warnke Family Reunion started. It was Friday night thru Sunday afternoon. And I took almost NO pictures. shame on me.

 a "quick" run to Arrowhead. I think we were gone for over an hour. The blended coffees were melted by the time we got back. *chuckles* (the umbrella that we took this picture under was red - that's why the coffees look pink  xP)

the night before Felicity and Josiah left, we went to Red Robin. The last time our family was whole <3 

and after Red Robin - YoFactory with Grandpa and Sue <3 

the reunion was over. my sister went home. *sniff* 

but I guess that's life
