   Once upon a time, my sister and I made a video to give to my cousins as a gift. A video of us, just... being us. We didn't want them to know what the video was about until they watched it, so we called it "Stuff and Fluff". Little did we know that that video start what I now will call a six part series: Stuff and Fluff.

   I have recently started sharing these videos on my MeWe account. Then I thought, you know what? those would go good in my "Memory Lane" blog series I never followed up on. *laughs* So here we are. Sharing all six videos of me and my childhood friends goofy off and playing around in all our childhood places. Little did we know that we'd all grow apart, people would move away, and everything would change. But enough about that.

top ten || tv shows {updated}

a while back, I did a top ten tv shows post, and it seems like people enjoyed that. It's been a while since then, and I've discovered a few more shows worth being on my top ten list. But, for now I decided to just do an updated version of this post with only old tv shows. So, if you know me, you'll probably be shocked to see that Psych is not on this list. Remember - this is my Top Ten (Old) TV Shows.

And now, time to tell you all about my favorite shows. (I'll try not to talk too much about the shows that were on my old list - click here if you want to read what I said about them before)


|| Father Knows Best {1954-60}

Yes, this is still my favorite TV show. I really don't think I'll ever find a show that could top this. Everything about it is simply amazing, but don't just take my word for it. watch this show! pleaaassseeee???

This was on the top of my last list, so I don't want to blab about it too much, but just a quick review of what it's about:

Robert Young and Jane Wyatt star as the parents of three children - Betty (Elinor Donahue), Bud (Billy Gray) and Kathy (Lauren Chapin). Father Knows Best was a family sitcom. Personally Bud is my favorite character, but every character in this show is lovable and believable. Jim and Margaret are probably the cutest parents I've ever seen in a tv show. And well, it's a great show and you should watch it if you haven't already. *winks* and if you have . . . re-watch it *laughs*

|| Laramie {1959-63}

For years I've wanted to watch this show. And I mean years. Ever since I was putting together my top ten couples post a while back and LaKaysha was helping me. I needed a picture of a cowboy to be Tyrel Sackett and LaKaysha suddenly gasped, "I know who's Tyrel!! He's perfect!" and she found me a picture of Robert Fuller (the one on the right in the above picture). And that was the beginning of the end. Because just looook at him!! #swoonsville 
I needed to know who this guy was and what he played in. So, I'd watch a few random episodes of Wagon Train (more about that show later) on YouTube, but I really wanted to watch the show he first played in: Laramie. All I really knew was that he was in it, co-starring with John Smith, and it was a Western that took place in the town of Laramie, Wyoming.
Finally my library bought the entire show. My sisters and I have been working our way through it and gaaaahhhhh I love it *dies* We are now on season two, but two episodes into the show I knew it would be my new favorite western *winks*

Here's basically what it's about:

Slim Sherman owns and runs a ranch/stage relay station. Living on the ranch with him is his younger brother Andy (Robert Crawford Jr. aka Bobby) and an old friend Jonesy (Hoagy Carmichael). Along comes the drifter, Jess Harper (Robert Fuller). I'm not gonna spoil the first episode for you, but Slim takes a liking to Jess and offers him a job on his ranch, which he accepts (obviously xP). These are the four main characters for the entire first season. By the second season, however, it is explained that Jonesy and Andy go off to St. Louis so that Andy could get an education in a school there.
With Andy and Jonesy gone, Jess and Slim have a hard time keeping up with the household chores, but have no fear, in the third season an old widow, Daisy Cooper (Spring Byington) and an orphan, Mike Williams (Dennis Holmes) come. Since I am only on the second season I don't know these two characters, but I am sure I will learn to love them just as much as I loved Jonesy and Andy.
This is your typical western tv show of it's time, with bad guys causing trouble and the good guys shutting them down, and looking adorable as they do it *winks*

I love the way Slim's and Jess's characters even each other out. With Jess's temper, he's always needing Slim to calm him down before he does something foolish. And with Slim's trustworthy personality, he always needs Jess to remind him that not everybody who wanders onto the ranch is good. I also love how close of friends they become. *hearts* and they're both good with kids, so there's that *winks*
Both Slim and Jess are really good guys, and even though I wanted to watch this show because of Jess (Robert Fuller xP) I can see how some people could have a hard time choosing a favorite of the two. || My Three Sons {1960-73}

This show I came across on a road trip. Watched it on tv in a motel somewhere. Enjoyed it so much that I came home and looked into trying to watch it. I realized that only the first two seasons were released on DVD and I heard they weren't planning on releasing any more. But guys. When I looked this up to find the years that it ran I found that they have been releasing more!! All the way up to season four is now on DVD! *laughs* it's ridiculous how excited I got when I found this.
Maybe now I can slowly watch the whole show. I know that I'd really enjoy the later seasons because that's what we watched on tv that one time.

Anyway, My Three Sons is another sitcom much like Father Knows Best. Widower Steve Douglas (Fred MacMurrey) raises three crazy sons, Mike (Tim Considine), Robbie (Don Grady), and Chip (Stanley Livingston), with the help of his father-in-law "Bub" (William Frawley). Though later on in the show "Bub" leaves and is replaced with Uncle Charley (William Demarest). Mike later marries and also leaves the show. To stay true to the title they take in another son - Ernie (Barry Livingston).
Later on in the show Robbie marries and has three sons of his own.
Also, I find it crazy that this show went on so long that even Chip marries! *cries because that means he grows up*

|| Wagon Train {1957-65}

ok, so this show - I haven't watched the whole thing. I actually haven't watched that many, come to think of it. But every episode I've ever seen has been great, and I love that I can  always find one I've never watched, while still enjoying the ones I have.

The show is about a wagon train traveling West, with each episode being about the guest stars (oddly enough) But it works, because there is a regular cast - the wagon master, the scouts, the cook, ect. Each episode is about the wagon master bringing a different wagon train to California.
The first wagon master (seasons 1-4), Major Seth Adams (Ward Bond), was replaced by Chris Hale (John McIntire) when Bond passed away during the fourth season. I watch the later seasons, so Chris Hale is the wagon master I know and love *winks*. Though I have watched a few episodes with the Major. The assistant wagon master Bill Hawks was played by Terry Wilson, and he was one of the two characters who stuck around throughout the entire show. The other was Charlie Wooster (Frank McGrath), the cook.
There were two scouts in the show; Flint McCullough (Robert Horton - seasons 1-5) and Cooper Smith (Robert Fuller - seasons 7-8). Then there's Duke Shannon (Scott Miller - seasons 5-7), I think he may be a scout as well, though I don't know if he's ever actually called that.
Barnaby West (Michael Burns) is an assistant to everyone I guess, since he just runs around and does whatever he's told to do *laughs*.

There's not much else you can say about Wagon Train. Each episode is different, and each episode is entertaining. So watch it *winks*

|| Bonanza {1959-73}

Bonanza. The show I grew up watching. At home. At Grandpa and Grandma's. At the Ranch. It's not the greatest western ever made *hides from my family*, but it sure is nice to watch sometimes. Relive the memories.

It's a show centered around The Cartwrights. Ben, the father (Loreen Green), Adam (Pernell Roberts), Hoss (Dan Blocker), and Little Joe (Michael Landon). They have a ranch in Nevada called The Ponderosa. and basically that's it *laughs*

If you want to watch this show, do yourself a favor and only watch to season 6. Adam leaves after that, and I guess he was the one keeping all the yuckiness out of the show, because it just gets bleh after that *laughs*

|| Father Murphey {1981-83}

Now, this show I used to watch at my great-aunt and uncles. Not many people know about this show, probably since Little House on The Prairie did so well. But this show was also created by Michael Landon. It only ran for two seasons, which I think is so sad, but I guess Little House on the Prairie really just stole this shows thunder. *sniff*

In the Pilot of Father Murphey you see John Michael Murphey (Merlin Olson) team up with Moses Gage (Moses Gunn) to go find gold in California. Along the way they pick up an orphan, Will Adams (Timothy Gibbs). In the mining camp there's a teacher, Mae Woodward (Katherine Cannon). While all the children are at school getting ready for a party the mining camp is attacked and all the parents are killed, along with the priest. To keep the children out of a workhouse, Mr. Murphey, Miss Woodward, and Moses bring them to an old mine and open up an orphanage, where Mr. Murphey is forced to pretend to be a priest. (which is where the show gets it's name *winks*)

It's a great show, and I love the story. A lot of the children stay throughout the show, but I decided not to list them here, so you'll just have to watch this show to get to know them *winks*

|| The Rifleman {1958-63}

I will forever have a soft spot for this show, and I don't care how made fun of I am. Lucas and Mark got me through some hard times - not to mention all the nights of laying in bed making up a whole new show based off these characters with LaKaysha. (I've thought of doing a post all about "Mark and Ruby", but I'm not sure if I'm ready to share my characters with the world - though I'd love to write it all down so I won't forget and I can tell my future kids and grand-kids about them)

The Rifleman is a western set in North Fork, New Mexico, where Lucas McCain (Chuck Conners) raises his son, Mark (Johnny Crawford), on his own. His good friend, Marshal Micah Torrance (Paul Fix) also helps with raising Mark.

I guess you could say this show is more on the "cheesy" side since it was more made for kids than most westerns of this time, but I still love it.

|| Hogan's Heroes {1965-71}

Now here's a great comedy. I may put up a fight when my family decides they want to watch Hogan's Heroes, but it never fails to make me smile. I do own the first season, so that says something *winks* (I've very picky about what books and movies I put in my collection)

It's World War II and Colonel Robert Hogan (Robert Crane) and his men are "stuck" in a POW camp, with Colonel Wilhelm Klink (Werner Klemperer) as their commandant, and Sergeant Hans Schultz (John Banner) as their guard. Hogan and his men have an underground world, unknown to the Nazis, which they use to help aid Allied espionage and sabotage, also helping Allied soldiers escape to England.
Besides Hogan there is, Carter (Larry Hovis) - American, Kinch (Ivan Dixon) - also American, LeBeau (Robert Clary) - French, and Newkirk (Richard Dawson) - English.

|| Leave it to Beaver {1957-63}

This show is super lame if you watch it right after watching Father Knows Best, but I watched it first, so I still have a soft spot for it. *winks*

Another family sitcom, Leave it to Beaver is about Ward and June Cleaver (Hugh Beaumont and Barbara Billingsley) raising their two sons Wally (Tony Dow) and Theodore aka "Beaver" (Jerry Mathers).

|| Road to Avonlea {1990-96}

The only reason this show is the last on my list is because it's newer than all the rest and it was on my last list. This show is one of my favorite shows of all time. I could re-watch this show a million times and I wouldn't care. xP it's just. so. good.

Road to Avonlea is a show more about the town of Avonlea than it is about the King family. There so many characters I could never list them all. (I looked this show up when writing this post and the character list goes on for yearrrrrrssss *laughs*) So I'll only list a "few".
The King Family:
Alec (Cedric Smith) and Janet King (Lally Cadeau) and their children Felicity (Gema Zamprogna), Felix (Zachary Bennett), Cecily (Harmony Cramp and Molly Atkinson), and Daniel (Alex and Ryan Floyd).

loads of cousins || tribute to my people

If you've been following me for a while (or happen to know me in real life) you know that I have lots of cousins and I love them all dearly.
There are some cousins out there that I don't really know. I don't have their numbers and I'd probably have to think real hard before telling you their middle name. Clayton? *blink blink* his middle name is a mystery to me, guys. I complete mystery. Shaelyn? *cheats and looks at her graduation announcement on the wall - and not just to see what her middle name is, but also to see how to spell her name* Shaelyn Eileen.
But there are other cousins. The ones I know personally. And I could tell you their middle names without even thinking.

I'm not gonna list them all 'cause, wow, I have a lot of cousins.
But if I have a cousins number, they are in my phone with their middle name in the place of a last name. Because, who needs last names?

Some were always there. Some came later on. Like Evelyn. The adorable six-year-old was my tootsie-roll from day one. I don't know why. *laughs* somehow me and her just clicked.

These cousins of mine have added so much to life. Without them - let's be honest - I'd be friendless. I don't have a single real-life friend who is not my cousin in some way. (meaning - they may not be my first-cousin, but they're my cousin just the same)

Every single cousin my age is a boy. Fun right? *winks*
Of course there were times when I struggled with that. I mean, because I was younger, I never played with the girls much, and because I'm a girl, I didn't want to play with the boys much. Most of my growing up days were spent jumping between the boys and the girls, not really sure where I belonged. Then somehow I became part of "the four". LaKaysha, Emily, and Kimberly became my friend group and we were quite the group. *winks*

Now we're all at the ages where we all feel the same age. Everybody is driving, everybody hangs out together. Sometimes the boys do things without us girls, and sometimes us girls, but we've formed a little circle of cousins, siblings and aunts. *winks*

And then there's the little cousins. Oh how I love them. They keep me smiling.
They run around and play and giggle. And climb on my lap and tell me stories. Ask me questions. Want to see videos on my phone.
Their eyes kill me.

The Christmas Tag

Natasha @ Simple Things tagged me for The Christmas Tag, which makes me so happy! Thanks, girly! <3 This being the last month of 2017,  I wanted to do lots of blogposts, but I've been having trouble coming up with things to post about. So of course I was tickled pink to see that I was tagged for this.

Christmas is coming up fast! Has anybody felt that Christmas feeling yet? I haven't. We've been listening to Christmas music, I've gone to the local Christmas Tree Lighting, I've gone Christmas shopping, but still I haven't felt it. Maybe because I've been sick with a cold and unable to eat  any of the Christmas goodies. *winks* But, I guess that's life. I am on the mend and will be able to eat/drink the yumminess soon *grins*

Anyway, I should probably get on with this tag! So here we goooooooooo...... *peter pan's voice*

1. What is your favorite Christmas movie? 
I've always loved "It's A Wonderful Life", and there's nothing like "Winnie-the-Pooh and Christmas Too". Not to mention all those other wonderful Christmas movies. But I'd have to say my favorite is "Holiday Inn". I've watched it two years in a row now. <3 But maybe I on;y love it because I always watch it with Cousin Kirsten. I don't know. *laughs*

2. Have you ever had a white Christmas? 
Yes, actually. It was shocking to the world, but we did have snow on Christmas Day one year - 2008 to be exact. That was a very strange winter, and we got over 4 feet of snow! Something that hasn't happened before, and hasn't happened since. Usually we get dusting's but that's all, and never on Christmas Day. Sometimes Christmas Eve, but it's gone by the next day.

3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?
Christmas Day, I am always at home. Plus we have Christmas Dinner on a different day with my mom's family at my Grandpa's house. And when I was a kid, we even had a celebration with my dad's side of the family, on a different day too. Sometimes that would be at our house, sometimes at my aunt and uncle's. I remember one year we drove four hours to my aunt and uncle's for the "Stenersen Christmas". I love those memories.
But on Christmas Day we are always at our own house, and it's just us. Except when my aunt lived with us... also one year my other aunt spent Christmas with us too. <3

4. What is your favorite Christmas song? 
No such thing. I love them all. How can you pick!? I love sooooo many!!
I've always loved "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem" by my Uncle Casey. "On this Day" by Reba McEntire. "Let it be Christmas" by Alan Jackson. "Pretty Paper" by Randy Travis. "Old Time Christmas" also by Randy Travis. "Santa Clause and Popcorn" by Merle Haggard. "Wonderful Christmas Time" by Paul McCartney. "Happy Christmas" by John Lennon. "The Secret of Giving" by Reba McEntire. "Merry Christmas Strait to You" by George Strait, of course *winks*. "There's a New Kid in Town" by Keith Whitley.  "Looking Christmas" by Clint Black. "The First Noel" by John Denver. annnnnndddddd I should probably stop. *laughs*

5. Do you open any Christmas gifts on Christmas Eve? 
Yes, sometimes. It depends on the year. And how excited my parents are.  *laughs*
Also, sometimes the "Warnke Christmas" is on Christmas Eve so we're not even home if that happens. *winks*
but opening one gift each on Christmas Eve was such fun as a kid! <3

6. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, and Vixen, Comet, and Cupid, and Donner, and Blitzen, and of course Rudolf. *winks* and yes, I did that all by memory.

7. What Holiday Tradition are you looking forward to most this year? 
Hm. Probably eating lots of yummy things while watching a Christmas movie all together.

8. Is your Christmas Tree real or fake? 
I must admit that we don't have our tree yet. Because we always get a real tree, all together as a family. Searching for the perfect tree on the farm. Another tradition that I am looking forward to. Especially since I've extra impatient this year and want that tree like yesterday. *winks*

9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?
Food? the entire meal of course. *laughs* well, let's just say mashed potatoes and gravy.
Sweet treat would be Mocha Truffles for sure.

10. Be honest: Do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better? 
oh boy. that's a hard one. I honestly don't know. I think I like giving gifts better, but that depends on who I'm buying for and how good my imagination is working. *laughs*

11. What is the best gift you've ever received? 
oh goodness. I've gotten so many wonderful things in my 18 years!
I'll go with my Polaroid camera. It's so fun and wonderful and adorable, and I love it so much.

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season? 
A cabin in the mountains would be amazing. (like The Ranch?) also I would love to go to NH for Christmas.
ALSO. Disneyland would be amazing! *laughs*

13. Are you a pro present-wrapper or do you fail miserably. 
Weeeeeellll. I don't do too bad. But Felicity,  Kirsten, and Amanda would definitely fall in the "pro" category. *winks* Why, Amanda gave me a gift and said I can't open it till Christmas. And I couldn't peek at that present if I wanted to, it's wrapped so well! *laughs*

14. Most memorable holiday moment? 
Oh boy, oh boy. This is a hard one.
I love remembering the mornings when I would get up super early, and sneak downstairs (this was when we lived on our other house) with Chancy, and we'd run as fast as we could past the stocking so we wouldn't be tempted to peek. Then we'd plug in the Christmas tree and sit by the light of it, playing checkers or some other game, while waiting for the rest of the family to get up. Once all us siblings were up, we'd open our stockings. (we had permission from a parents to do that without them,  because they wanted to sleep. haha) Those Christmas mornings, just me and the bro. <3

15. What made you realize the truth about Santa? 
Always knew the truth. Santa isn't even a thing in our house.

16. Do you make New Year's resolutions? Do you stick to them? 
This past year was the first time I did that, and I think I did pretty good. PRETTY GOOD. *winks*

17. What makes the holiday special for you? 
Well, simply everything about it.
The lights (I'm so obsessed with the lights <333). the music (oh Alan Jackson <3). the warmth. the feeling of being loved -- that's really the best feeling ever.
I love being with my family on Christmas Eve and Day.

Photo Dump || September 2017

Another month has come and gone.
Goodbye September 2k17. We may not ever see you again, but that doesn't mean we didn't love you. *winks*

So. It's time for the monthly photo dump. I don't know if I got any good pictures this month. But some great things happened. Also some hard things happened, but life is that way.

The other day we received the call from Felicity saying she is ENGAGED!!! Eeeeeee!!!! And she asked me to be a bridesmaid. *squeals* I already ordered the dress. I can't believe this is really happening!

 and for Colten's birthday, we went to Rocky's - the best place to go. *winks and sticks out tongue*
