Yet another month of 2020 is about to end, and so here is yet another wrap up post from me. This month may have gone by slowly, but it was a pretty good month despite everything. Got in some great "sibling time" - aka watching shows together and shushing each other during said shows. Also, "fighting off" our brother who likes to tickle us during the theme songs. *rolls eyes* He's annoying but we love him. *winks*
Got some things done this month. Not important things, but things just the same *winks* Finished watching all of Psych - including the movie. About finished watching Emergency. Finished a few pages in my smashbook. Did some pretty fun sketches in my sketchbook. Am finally coming to end of reading Little Women. Read the Book of Luke and am now working my way through Romans. Went through all the stuff in my hopechest - stuffed animals and bits of things from my life. I found some gems in there - such as a play (aka short film) I made when I was 11(?) with my cousin and a friend from church (adult friend, btw - we were staying at her house since her and her husband live a few hours away). My acting skills were *ok sign* back then *laughs* I watched it and just laughed at the fact that we didn't explain the story at all so it made no sense. #goodtimesgoodtimes
I also found the start of a book I wrote when I was 17. Wasn't that bad actually. Too bad I only wrote a page or two of it. I think it would've been a pretty good story if I hadn't killed the boyfriend. But the point of the story was that it was sad. But. I couldn't figure out how to make the main character fall i love with her dead boyfriends best friend making people either hate him for "stealing his friends girl"or hate her for "forgetting". So that story will probably never have an ending. I mayyyyy be willing to post the start of it on here, just for kicks and giggles, if people want to see it. *winks*
Anyway. That's the kind of stuff I "got done" this month. Little things that aren't anything, but it feels like something when you're home allll day everyyyyday and your actual to-do list gets done in a couple hours each day and you have nothing else to do but make up a to-do list. One day this month we went for a walk "in the woods" and that was nice. Nice to get out of the house, nice to get in our in the fresh air. Also, got coffee after (oh wait - I got iced tea and LaKaysha got a smoothie, but whatever *winks*) so that was a nice day!
Had some nice weather this month, as well as some super wet days #springinthepnw So I've worn shorts this month, as well as sweaters *laughs*
Easter happened, and it was good one, even without going to church - though that would've been great. We all got dressed up, listened to a sermon, took pictures, and then ate an amazing Easter Dinner.*smiles*
One day, my sisters and I were getting ready to bring some eggs to our aunt and uncles, and talking about whether or not we would make it to the local coffee shop before it closed afterwards when my dad said, " You can't be running around town after if you're going to have a puppy with you." When we asked him if he was serious he just said, "It can't be a girl" and walked outside. So, we got a puppy!! He threw up in my car on the way home, so that sucked, but he's super cute so whatever. I don't have a good picture of him, so go here to see my sisters post about him.Read in April:
