goodbye may of 2020

It's almost June. It's almost June. It's almost June.

Maybe if I type it a thousand times over I will actually comprehend that time had past since March, and we're pretty much in summer now. I can't be the only one who feels like time has stopped for the past few months. Right?

Well. I guess I can't find a way to make my month sound fun and interesting, even though it was xP So I'll just do a small photo dump again:

went camping in my grandpa's new shop with my sisters (minus Felicity), The Aunts, and Kirsten. Hiked. Climbed up and down "cliffs". Found the spring and it was beautiful - just like Josh in the Seasons of the Heart books *winks* Played games. Slept in the loft. Drank coffee from a tin cup. good times. good times. 

went to town on a sunny day also I paaaiddd offff my caaarrrrr *happy dance*

spent a lot of time up at my grandpa's property and in the new shop, come to think of it. Had some good times there for sure <3 playing games with the cousins till later than I've ever stayed out besides a time or two when I stayed out till midnight in NH or something like that. (my cousins will read this be shocked to find out that I don't stay out late, but that's how it is when you don't have friends who live by you)

started a new diary!! who else gets excited by this!? 

babysat Kate, along with LaKaysha. She was such a joy to watch, and the sista's apartment is such a relaxing place to be <3

my parents went away one weekend, and so did the brother, so it was just us girls home. In this pic I;m watching The Waltons and writing in my diary, but mostly I watched Joanie Loves Chachi that weekend. Ended up buying that show on DVD after that *winks* 

Also, we had Marissa and Marita over for a movie night that weekend, which we never do so that was fun!

and lastly, we have a pic of me and LaKaysha on Mother's Day - which was a pretty good day, btw.

Trip || THE FIRST WEEK + MEMORIAL DAY

I didn't sleep much that first night in New Hampshire, and then I got up early. Smart, I know. I was just laying in bed awake anyway, and I could hear that Aunt Mary was there with the twins and those little voices <3 How was I supposed to stay in bed? 

I got up. Hugged Mary, sat on the couch and asked Cormick, "Can I hug you?" He nodded and then climbed in my lap. My heart <3 

Slowly, people started to get up. I hugged Grandpa and Grandma. 

Mostly we did nothing. Sat around and waited for Felicity to come. And then when she got there we followed her around while she cleaned Grandma's house. The morning was slow and relaxing.

Finally Felicity finished cleaning and we decided to go to her apartment and see it. I "dragged" her to Dunkin's first. *winks*

I don't know why I love the view out of the living room window. there really isn't much to see *laughs*

Once at Felicity's we just sat around. In her hot apartment *winks* We ordered Pizza Haven Too for supper. and then we decided to go to Kimball's for ice cream.

We walked around in the gift shop for a long time, and I actually ended up buying a t-shirt. And I LOVE IT
After Kimball's we just went back to Grandma's, and I don't even remember what we did *laughs*

The next day was spent just chilling at "home". Doing nothing.
Going on the swing.
Laying in the hammock.
Playing with the twins.
And we went for a walk around town.

That night, me and LaKaysha joined Felicity and Josiah at Mary and Amos's and helped watch the kids.

The next day was Saturday. I woke up pretty early, made my morning coffee, and just enjoyed the quiet of morning, until Felicity and Josiah came.
They came over for breakfast, and then we decided to go to the mall. But, we took so long getting ready, we only had enough time to go to Panera Bread for lunch and head back to Grandma's because Felicity and Josiah had a wedding to get to.

Back at Grandma's, Felicity and Josiah left and we had nobody to be with and nothing to do. So. I got Tyrel out of his room and we played Trivial Pursuit for the rest of the day. It's a long game, k? *winks* 

Sunday morning, I drove us to church and didn't get lost. (GPS may have helped)
After church, we ordered Pizza Haven, and I drove there to get it. By the time we left I knew my way around for the most part. I'm so proud of myself!

It was this day that Uncle Marlon brought me to Dunkin's. And then we played Trivial Pursuit for a long time.

The next day was Memorial Day. It was an amazing day! I finally got to experience Memorial Day in New England! (it was raining last year, in case you didn't already know *winks*) I loved it!
We ate hotdogs, walked to the cemetery, and then watched the parade. And everything after.
When it was all over, we got our picture taken with Ryan.
And then we walked back to Grandma's for food.

After we ate, I texted Janeya and she came and picked up me and LaKaysha.
While we waited for her, we went outside and played with a GIANT ball in the backyard. That's how she found us. *winks*
 We went to where there was a family gathering, and hung out there for a long time. That's when there was a bumble bee. I touched it. Unlike LaKaysha, who hid behind me when Ryan tried to show it to her. *rolls eyes and sticks out tongue*
And someone threw a disc (for disc-golf) on the roof, so Tyrel and anther cousin climbed up there to get it. *laughs*

I think I shall call him Bubble *winks at Kirsten* 

After the family gathering, we went to Dunkin's (Janeya bought me a tea! *hugs hers*) and then we went to my great-aunt and uncle's for a fire.
And after that, Janeya brought us back to my Grandma's. Where we found Great-Aunt Jennie. We sat up late chatting with her - just me, LaKaysha, Janeya, and Jennie. It was fun. *winks*
I went to bed smiling <3

On the way back to Grandpa and Grandma's, Tyrel stopped at a store, and then had me drive from there.
I hadn't even tried to drive a stick since Tyrel taught me last year, so you can imagine how nervous I was. I almost freaked out. It was dark, a guy was watching, and I had to back up. But, I did it. I drove back to Grandma's, and we didn't die. *wipes sweat*

And our first week in New Hampshire was over just like that *snaps fingers*
